Coco Cabanas

Highly recommended! These Cabanas are located on Isla de Navidad. Visit their website here.
I think most guests at the cabanas take a taxi from the airport, we just stumbled upon them as we drove along the beach. We were excited to stay in cabanas right on the beach with two hammocks and a beautiful view. After we checked in, we took a two hour walk down the beach. We found a "hidden" beach, a stairway build into the rock cliffs leading to a seculded area with black sand. By the time we returned we were ready for a swim and a good meal. The pool was perfect and I must say I've never had a better cheeseburger.

The cliffs at the end of the beach near the cabanas.
Hidden black sand beach.
The cabana we stayed in.
Stairway leading up to the loft.
Loft with hammock and view of the beach. Perfect!
Shower with great water pressure! Not easy to find in Mexico.
The tile in the cabanas was very impressive, in fact every detail was amazing. If you ever find yourself in this part of Mexico (3 hours south of Puerto Vallarta, one hour north of Manzanillo) book yourself at least one night. You will not regret it!
